Update on Rangers Fixture and Ticket Allocation

Here we go again. Something every week with our club.

We have always said we would be transparent on honest with ourselves and everyone else.

We wrote a formal letter of complaint to the club about the Rangers fixture and obvious failings of tickets being in the wrong hands.

We received and were copied into hundreds of fans complaints for transparency with some sickening reports.

The complaint was posted to our Director of fan engagement on the 26th January. A Director of fan engagement who doesn’t seem to engage with fans.

We have not had any formal reply. Given the nature and seriousness of the incident this is more than disappointing.

  • It is clear and a fact that double the number of hospitality tickets were sold for this game. Obviously a large percentage going to Rangers fans (see screenshot). Did nobody question why and how?
  • 1,210 tickets sold to non members premium seating. No alarm bells raised at the club.
  • 1,518 non members tickets received. How?
  • According to the club only those who were registered prior to the draw could purchase tickets. Obviously not true to shift the blame.

The clubs reply is beyond a joke and there was an obvious directive cascaded to peddle the narrative by the club the morning after. A templated response was prepared.

We will be following this up through official channels and contacts in the strongest possible terms. It simply isn’t good enough and neither is the clubs response once again blaming Season Ticket Holders. Zero accountability and blame shifting.

The safety of fans should be paramount above everything. It was not hard to predict what would happen Rangers have a proven track record. This is hands down a fundamental failing of the club.

Not only are the club pricing out our younger generation they are now scaring them off. Disgraceful.

Thanks to everyone who messaged and emailed us.
